The monolith is ground and measured on an X-ray fluorescence analyser — Pt, Pd and Rh content is determined in ppm. About 15 minutes.
We go through the analysis and the calculation together with you. Cash or card — the same day.
Our prices are exact, not estimates. An XRF analyzer determines the converter’s composition and you get the analysis result. The grams found by the analysis are multiplied by that day’s exchange rate. The sum is the gross price.
The coefficient is the same for every model and is published in advance — nothing is hidden.

The converter is accepted in any condition — intact, cracked/melted, or crushed into sand — condition does not affect the price. Only when wet is the exact weight hard to tell, so it’s accepted dried or with the weight reduced accordingly.
Factory (OEM) converters have a more consistent metal content than later aftermarket ones.
