This document constitutes a public offer provided by katalizator.uz and sets out the terms and conditions for purchasing used automotive catalytic converters.
By submitting a catalytic converter for analysis, you confirm your full acceptance of the following terms and conditions.
1. General Provisions
This document constitutes a public offer in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan concerning public offers. The terms of the offer are the same for all customers.
The offer is deemed accepted when the Customer submits the catalytic converter for analysis at the receiving point. The sale and purchase agreement for the catalytic converter is concluded when the Customer agrees to the price announced based on the analysis results.
The Company reserves the right to amend this offer. A new version becomes effective upon publication on this page and does not apply to catalytic converters submitted before its publication.
2. Definitions
Catalytic Converter — a device designed to clean vehicle exhaust gases.
Monolith — the internal ceramic or metal core of a catalytic converter containing precious metals.
XRF Analysis — an X-ray fluorescence analysis method used to determine the content of platinum (Pt), palladium (Pd), and rhodium (Rh) in the monolith.
Payout Percentage — the percentage of the value of each metal paid to the Customer. The payout percentages are the same for all models.
Application — the katalizator.uz website and the “Katalizator” mobile application.
Customer — an individual aged 18 or older or a legal entity submitting a catalytic converter for analysis and sale.
3. Subject of the Offer
The Company purchases a used catalytic converter from the Customer, and the Customer transfers it to the Company.
The price is determined based on the quantity of precious metals identified through analysis, their exchange price on the day of analysis, and the applicable payout percentages.
4. Prices and Applications in the Application
The prices displayed in the Application catalog and the calculator results are approximate and provided for informational purposes only.
They do not constitute terms of the offer or a price guarantee: catalytic converters of the same model may have different compositions.
The final price is determined exclusively based on the results of the XRF analysis.
An application submitted through the Application is a request for a preliminary estimate and a callback. It does not create a contract and does not impose an obligation on either the Customer or the Company to sell or purchase a catalytic converter.
5. Acceptance and Analysis Procedure
- The catalytic converter is accepted and visually inspected.
- The monolith is separated from the casing, crushed, and weighed.
- The amounts of Pt, Pd, and Rh are determined using XRF analysis.
- The result is printed and provided to the Customer, after which the price is calculated and announced.
- The Customer may be present during the analysis.
6. If You Do Not Agree with the Price
If the Customer does not agree with the announced price, the Customer may refuse to sell the catalytic converter.
In this case, the catalytic converter is returned to the Customer in an opened and crushed condition: the crushed monolith and the casing.
By submitting the catalytic converter for analysis, the Customer confirms their consent to its return in this condition.
7. Price Determination
Only the monolith is taken into account when calculating the price; the metal casing is not valued.
The price is calculated as follows: the amount of each metal in grams, determined through analysis, is multiplied by its exchange price on the day of analysis and the applicable payout percentage. The resulting amounts are then added together.
The payout percentages are the same for all models. Their current values are communicated to the Customer before the analysis begins.
Exchange prices are updated daily. The price applicable on the day of analysis is valid only for that day.
The condition of the catalytic converter (intact, cracked, melted, or crushed) does not affect the price — only the amount of precious metals matters.
A wet monolith is dried before weighing, or an agreed amount representing moisture is deducted from its weight.
Non-original (aftermarket) catalytic converters are also accepted. Since they usually contain less precious metals, their value may also be lower.
8. Payment
After the price has been agreed upon, payment is made on the same day in cash or by transfer to a bank card.
Ownership of the catalytic converter transfers to the Company upon completion of the payment.
Payments to legal entities are made by bank transfer with the relevant documents properly executed.
9. Delivery of the Catalytic Converter
The Customer delivers the catalytic converter to the receiving point.
Within Tashkent, the Company may provide a free courier service for large-volume batches. In such cases, the timing and volume are agreed with the Customer in advance.
The Customer is responsible for the integrity of the catalytic converter until it is delivered to the receiving point.
10. Obligations of the Parties
Company:
- conducts the analysis objectively and impartially;
- documents the analysis results;
- makes the agreed payment on time;
- ensures the confidentiality of Customer information.
Customer:
- guarantees the lawful origin of the catalytic converter;
- provides accurate information;
- is responsible for claims made by third parties concerning the catalytic converter.
11. Cases Where Catalytic Converters Are Not Accepted
The following catalytic converters are not accepted:
- catalytic converters of suspicious origin or suspected to be stolen;
- products with no monolith or products filled with foreign substances.
In such cases, the Company may refuse acceptance and will provide an explanation.
If such circumstances are identified before the analysis begins, the catalytic converter is returned to the Customer unopened.
12. Liability
The parties are liable for failure to comply with the terms of this offer in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In the event that obligations cannot be fulfilled due to force majeure circumstances (natural disasters, decisions of government authorities, etc.), the parties are released from liability.
The Company is not responsible for any difference between the approximate prices displayed in the Application and the final price.
13. Personal Data
Customer personal data is processed for the purpose of completing the transaction and complying with legal requirements and is not disclosed to third parties, except where required or permitted by law.

14. Dispute Resolution
Disputes shall first be resolved through negotiations.
If the Customer objects to the analysis results, the Customer has the right to refuse the sale.
If no agreement can be reached, the dispute shall be resolved through the courts in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
